Horn Section Transcriptions
A “Horn section” is a generic term for a mixture of usually trumpets, saxophones and trombones. You may only have a single trumpet and sax’ or you may be lucky enough to have a large horn section. Either way, we can transcribe the original and either keep the same instruments or arrange the score for your line-up.
This example is the score for a horn section comprising of Trp, Tenor Sax and Baritone sax.
I’ve added a few vocal cues so that the musicians can easily come back in after multiple bars/measures where they’re not playing.
This example is the trumpet part from the transcribed horn section. You can see how clearly everything is laid out and simple to read.
